Patch repair is an efficient and cost effective method of repairing cracked or leaking pipes and is ideal when a pipe is only damaged in one or two areas where full re-lining is not needed.
This involves using isolated ‘patch’ repairs which are commonly installed in 1 metre long lengths. The process involves wrapping a piece of fibreglass soaked in a silicate resin around an inflation packer , pulled or pushed into place and within an hour is fully cured. These repairs have good structural capabilities as well as high chemical and heat resistant qualities. These types of repair are an efficient solution to repairing isolated faults in long runs.
