COLUS CONTRIBUTES TO DRAIN REPAIRS FOR SELF-FUNDED CHARITY
Colus have received thanks of praise for joining partner companies and helping them during a recent project in Birmingham.
Colus joined forces with Amey STW and others, to carry out complete drain repairs for a self-funded charity, completely free of charge.
Praise received For Helping Birmingham Charity
Birmingham City Mission, a Christian Charity, which helps the homeless and elderly, also supplies food and toys for children at Christmas.
“We have been overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity and also by the friendliness of your staff who have worked across our site. As a Charity which relies upon donations from our supporters to enable us to keep on assisting the marginalised and the vulnerable of our city, your help has been greatly appreciated,” Wes Erpen, Chief Executive, Birmingham City Mission.
Colus Patch & Drain Repairs
Crews from Colus attended the site on Thursday 2nd May 2018, to complete patch repairs, ensuring the Charity centre had sufficient sewer systems.
Amey had found an open joint on a 150mm line, approx. 2m deep and therefore called us in to rectify the problem.
“Thank you for sorting this out today , Che & Mikey were great, good site set up and made good impression all round. Please pass on my thanks to them,” Mark Bissell, Site Supervisor, Amey STW
“The crew completed the work and everyone had a wonderful day working with the fantastic people at the charity.”
